Catch NY, an advertising agency, was in need of a site refresh. We interviewed everyone at the agency to create a site reflective of who the team is, and that captured the ‘how’ and ‘why’ behind their everyday work lives. I showcased this by creating two main components of the site: “work” and “purpose”.
In the “work” section, we wanted the beauty of the creative to speak for itself. We display the imagery of each campaign to entice people to click through and see the full case study. The case study pages tell the story of each project from challenge to solution to results through a subtle parallax scroll. In the our “purpose” section, we wanted to create a 3D space that told the story of the company while at the same time showcasing our people. Using WebGL the developers created a space where you can scroll/click-and-drag to explore the different departments of the company and read snippets about the company’s vision and purpose.
