OGX is a haircare brand that encourages women to be original, and to embrace what makes them different and unique. Our challenge was to improve the brand’s digital presence and engage the hip, stylish woman that uses OGX in a more meaningful way.
The premise behind our “OGX-Rated” campaign was that there are no rules: however you want to wear your hair, it can’t be wrong so just rock it and make it your own. Through a series of digital banners, social tactics, and a microsite, we encourage women to celebrate themselves and express themselves through their hair.
We wanted the creative to speak to the women who aren’t afraid to be who they are. I developed digital banners that feature the bottle prominently and show young women that it is okay to let loose and be original. The microsite showcases quotes from real women telling OGX what they love about their hair. I designed the site to be interactive and compel its visitors to stay on the site and explore. We came up with a series of social tactics across social platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and Youtube to provide a space to interact with and get to know the brand.
